Frequently Asked Questions
No, you're not crazy to ask questions. We don't bite (without being asked, of course.)
Why do you only ship within the US?
Well, the short answer is tariffs. The US is kind of a chaotic mess right now when it comes to imports AND exports, and to save me from inaccurately guessing what the goverments want that day and costing both you (the customer) and me more money, I simply don't right now.
What are your return policies?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, assuming the item is returned in the condition it was shipped in. If an item is received damage due to shipping, reach out to me directly and I can figure out what happened and file a claim with USPS. This does not apply to commissioned products. Commissions have a zero tolerance return policy.
What's your commission policy?
Commissions can be discussed at any point in time, but a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work. This covers my expenses for ordering materials for your commission. If after 30 days of no contact from the commissioner, the item is either a) scrapped, b) sold at a discount on the table, or c) harvested for parts. Anything over the 50% deposit will be refunded to original point of purchase (for example, if your quote was $300 and you have put down $200 for a deposit, $50 would be returned.)
I work very hard to create items for you. Ghosting after completion or in the crafting process would otherwise only leave me out the money I invested into your product. If you need an extension to pay, that's totally fine. Shit happens, and I like to think I'm pretty reasonable. Just communicate with me.
That being said, I have a no genAI policy. If you approach me for a commission and use an AI generated image to describe to me what you want, you will be blocked. GenAI has its place in medicine, statistics, etc. It does not, by any means, belong in art.
I have my own stone. Will you wrap it?
Uh, absolutely. At that point, your cost would be the weight of materials used plus my hourly rate. Reach out and we can chat about logistics. (And I'm 100% willing to do memorial pieces with stones or beads made from ashes, or with bones. I'm weird, and I love telling stories for people when they otherwise can't.)
Where can I find your products in-person?
I am starting to travel the nation selling my products. You can keep an eye on my socials {linktree} or here on the site. I will do my best to maintain a running list of shows I'm expected to be at.
I also have a booth at 815 Artisan Collective in Belvidere, Illinois, and am always looking for places to showcase my product. If you're a store owner interested, reach out to me.
